Provision
The Parliament on Wednesday i.e. 9
Chaitra, 2073 (22 March, 2017) endorsed the Bill on threshold provision. The
State Affairs Committee (SAG) of the parliament agreed to impose a threshold of
3 % votes under PR (Proportional Representation) and at least l seat for the F-
P-T-P (First-Past-The-Post) election system to secure the status of a national
party in the parliamentary elections.
It is believed that the provision of
threshold would ensure political and government stability in the nation. There

20. The Second World War was greatly guided by the feeling of revenge. Write a letter to your friend justifying that revenge invites destruction.
Answer: Date:
4th December, 2022 Kathmandu
Dear friend Xyz
I am fine here along with my family
and I hope you are also fine there with your family. I got your letter the day
before. I am glad that you are curious to learn about Second World War and how
it was caused due to revenge. Revenge is a very dangerous thing which can cause
such a big damage in the world, family and other relationships too. The world
has already experienced very well that revenge invites nothing but destruction.
The Second world was an outcome of
revenge. Germany was forced to sign the Treaty of Versailles in a humiliating
condition. Germany had been defeated badly by the Triple Entente power in the
First World War. She had to lose a large territory of hers to the countries of triple
Entente. Her military strength was also restricted and there were many of other
such restrictions to her. She was made bear the sole war guilt and was made to
pay compensations. Due to this, Germany was greatly hurt and had a sense of
revenge. Hitler became the head of state in Germany and out of revenge, started
to break the provisions of Versailles Treaty. But ultimately, she had to suffer
a huge loss of people and property another time: in the Second World War.
Actually, Hitler was a German soldier during
First World War. He established Nazi Party after the War and was able to get
support of the German youths. To fulfil Germany's revenge of the defeat in
World War I, he even gave up membership of League of Nations and started to
militarize German Army. He filled a sense of ultra nationalism in Germans and
provoked them against countries such as Britain and France. This sense of
revenge caused the Second World War. Such activities intended for fulfilling
revenge didn't bring Germany anything other than destruction.
Many countries of the world including
Germany had to bear a great loss of life and property due to Second World War.
Germany had to sign an armistice with Allied countries once again after Second
World War. This armistice was neither very satisfactory, but bitter for Germany.
A huge destruction of property was also caused by this war in the whole world.
Apart from that, autocratic rules started in the world after the War. Like
this, revenge always invites destruction only.
I hope you have understood the value of peace
and tolerance in the world. As a sense of revenge of Germany invited another
destructive war and great loss to Germany as well as other countries in the
Second World War, revenge in any form always invites destruction in family,
society, nation and the world. We have to try to remain in peace with all
forever.
Your lovely friend, Xyz
